David L. Rigotti, age 85, of Cockeysville, MD, passed away on December 2, 2014 at his home. Born in Anvil, MI, he was the son of the late David and Mary Ricci Rigotti and husband, for 53 years, of the late Norma J. Rigotti. He worked for 38 distinguished years as a federal employee at Aberdeen Proving Ground, retiring after achieving the rank of Senior Executive Service (SES). Among his many titles throughout his career was Chief of the Ballistic Research Laboratory. He was very proud of his work in the nuclear field. An avid golfer, he was a longtime member of Maryland Golf and Country Club, as well as, the Bel Air Lions Club and St. Margaret Catholic Church. He enjoyed horse racing, playing cards, and loved his cat Sylvester.
Mr. Rigotti is survived by his son, David R. Rigotti of Reston, VA; daughter, Lynne R. French and husband, Thomas, of Bel Air; and grandchildren, David C. Rigotti of Reston, VA, Katelyn J. Rigotti of Washington, DC and Thomas A. French Jr. of Bel Air.
