DAVID HENRY BRYANT, JR., age 78, of Forest Hill, died at Mariner Health of Bel Air on February 18, 2003. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late David Henry, Sr. and Marie Elizabeth Eckstorm Bryant. He had worked for the M.T.A. for 40 years as a bus operator. Prior to working for the M.T.A., he was a street car motor man for the Baltimore Transit Company. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Highlandtown, the Tall Cedars, the Joppatowne Square Club, the Dundalk Square Club, and a life member of the Essex Memorial V.F.W. He enjoyed working on cars. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II.
Mr. Bryant is survived by his wife of 56 years and 3 months, Doris Rose Bryant; one sister, Marie Sweglar of Stanford, Connecticut; and many nieces and nephews.
