David E. Green, age 78, of Bel Air, MD passed away on January 24, 2013 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born in Springfield, MA, he was the son of the late William J. Green and Helen F. Sporing Archambault. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was a career electrical engineer, retiring from North Grumman. He was very organized, read everything, was an avid bird watcher with his camera at the window, was a wood craftsman and stained glass artist. He was a very loving and kind father to his children and a father figure to many others. He was a very godly man and had an unbelievable love for his wife and he adored his grandchildren.
Mr. Green is survived by his wife, Yvonne A. Green of Bel Air; son, Jonathan D. Green and wife, Cynthia L. of Carney; daughters, Sarah H. Havens and husband, Steven F. of Parkville and Denise Y. Tyler of Boulder, CO; brother, Ted Green of Rocheport, MO; sisters, Lou Anne Doin of Hoosick Falls, NY and Diane Schwarzer of North Adams, MA; and grandchildren, Ryan David Green and Nicole Annick Green.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to Riverside Community Church, 2625 Carsins Run Road, Aberdeen, MD 21001.
