DAVID E. CAGE, age 74, of Joppa, MD, died on January 22, 2008 at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Henry Carl and Edna Clyde Wood Cage. He worked at Franklin Square Hospital where he was the Director of Plant Operations and Engineering. He was an Army veteran serving our country during the Korean War and was a life member of the VFW Post 6506 in Rossville, and was a member of the American Legion near Havre de Grace, MD, and the Moose Lodge in Edgemere. He was also a proud member of The Rosedale Loudmouth Club for 33 years where he was past president, currently serving as vice-president, and where they generously enjoy "helping those in need". He enjoyed fishing in the Chesapeake Bay and was a wonderful gentleman who taught by example and was loved by all who knew him.
Mr. Cage is survived by his wife of 30 years, JoAnn Pennington Cage of Joppa, MD; three sons, Dan Cage of Sparks, MD, Doug Huffer of Forest Hill, MD, and Gary Huffer of Rosedale, MD; a daughter, Wendi Burgess of Parkton, MD; a sister, Carolyn Kelly of Parkville, MD; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Dennis Cage.
