David A. Carson, a cherished resident of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away unexpectedly on July 9, 2024, at his residence. Born on May 11, 1963, in Washington, DC, David was the beloved son of David Sr. and Carol Carson. Renowned for his culinary talents, David was a distinguished chef who graduated from the Culinary Institute in Washington, DC. He honed his craft working under esteemed chefs across Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Washington D.C. Beyond the kitchen walls, he embraced the great outdoors as an avid fisherman, enjoyed camping with a passion for marksmanship. His artistic soul found expression through painting and writing lyrics while sharing his love for blues music by playing harmonica with local bands. Among his greatest joys was creating lasting memories with his daughter Eva during their treasured vacations to Walt Disney World Resort. He was also known for the heartfelt holiday meals he prepared lovingly alongside his mother, Carol. David is survived by his parents, his adored daughter Eva; loving brothers John Mark and Steven; devoted sisters-in-law Tia and Joan; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pearly and Elizabeth Carson and James and Marie Hilker.
A private family internment service was held on July 15th. A celebration of life will be held later to honor David's memory.
Though departed too soon, David will forever remain cherished in the hearts of those whose lives he touched deeply. "You left us too soon, God took you into His embrace, Rest now above, In our hearts you find eternal space." - Your Loving Family
