David ''Bud'' B. Smelser, Sr.

DAVID “BUD”B. SMELZER, SR., age 75, of Fallston, died at his residence on April 11, 2005. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Ernest Nolan, Sr. and Millicent Lane Peters Smelser. He worked for the B&O Railroad as a carman. mechanic. He was a choir member and a former Deacon at the Grandview Christian Church. He sang in a quartet and sang solos at the church. Church was very meaningful to him. He was adored by a host of relatives and friends.

Mrs. Smelser is survived by his wife, Margaret B. Winfree Smelser; one son, David B. Smelser, Jr. of Fallston; two sisters, Bernice Hudson of Warminister, Pennsylvania and Lois McCann of Pasadena. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one son, Kevin Bruce Smelser; four brothers, Ernest Smelser, Jr., Robert Smelser, Charles Smelser, and Thomas Smelser.
