David Benton Smelser Jr.

David Benton Smelser Jr., age 57, of Fallston, MD, died on February 17, 2011 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Margaret Belle Winfree Smelser of Fallston, MD and the late David Benton Smelser Sr. A graduate of Brooklyn Park High School, he was a loving son and an active member of Grandview Christian Church where he enjoyed attending Wednesday Bible Study. He loved the beach, played semi-pro football, and was an excellent softball and pool player.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other family. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother, Kevin Bruce Smelser.

Pallbearers were Mark Bennett, Sam Bennett Sr., Sam Bennett Jr., T. McCann, and Brian Kelly.
