Dave Sugden

Dave Sugden, age 67, of Bel Air, MD passed away on February 19, 2017 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Born in Seattle, WA, he was the son of Wilfred and Herdis Norma (Hanson) Sugden. In 2001, he moved to Bel Air from Alaska where he had worked with the Anchorage Police Department and was a member of the ELKS Lodge. He was currently working as a produce manager at the Weis Market in Bel Air where he had been employed for 13 years. He loved to garden and can the fruits and vegetables that he grew. He also loved to work in the yard, go camping and fishing, and spend time with family. In his earlier years, he enjoyed bowling.

Mr. Sugden is survived by his wife of 22 years, Mary Ann Sugden; his children, Brenda (Stephen) J. Wright of Mesa, AZ, Deanna L. Hudson of Anchorage, AK, Melodie D. Wells of Elkton, Elyse (Shaun) Spurlin of Belcamp and Zachary J. Krider of Belcamp; 14 grandchildren; and sister, Bobbie Vchulek of Seattle, WA.
