Darlene C. Grace, age 81, of Edgewood, Maryland, passed away on June 3, 2024, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Abingdon, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Morris and Carrie (Bowers) Maners and the beloved wife of the late Wilson B. Grace Jr.
Darlene was a devoted member of Edgewood Baptist Church. She cherished her time with her "lunch bunch" friends, sharing countless memories and laughter. Known for her nurturing spirit, Darlene loved taking care of children, both her own and others. Her interests were varied and included bowling, creating ceramics, and attending Zumba classes, activities that brought her joy and enriched her life.
Darlene is survived by her loving family: her daughter, Carrie Ann (Nicholas) Conte; her sons, Scott B. (Cyndi) Grace, and Jeffrey A. (Teresa) Grace, Sr.; and her grandchildren, Jenna Grace, Brittany Grace (Shawn Richardson), Amanda (Pete) Harbach, Rebecca Conte (Justin Williams) Jeffrey Grace, Jr. and Elizabeth Vanburen. She is also survived by her brothers, John and Ronald Maners; and her great-grandchildren, Olivia Webb, Autumn Small, Henry and Harrison Harbach, Kaia Williams, Brian Grace and Kazimierz, Savage, and Trindon Vanburen.
In addition to her parents and husband, Darlene was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Brandon, and Sarah Grace; her brother, Robert Maners; and her sister, Betty Geier.

Darlene’s loving and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness and devotion to family will forever remain in our hearts.
