Darlene Ball

Naomi “Darlene” Ball, age 68, of Churchville, Maryland passed away on December 2, 2020 at her home after a long battle with cancer. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, she was the daughter of Roger Mays and Naomi (Rudd) Ball.

Darlene worked as a Nursing Assistant for over 15 years, but most of her life revolved around being a dairy farmer. She took pride in caring for her farm and raising spoiled cows. When she wasn’t in the barn, she enjoyed spending time with her family and working in her flower gardens.

Darlene is survived by her husband Ralph Ball; daughters, Lisa Miller, Jennifer Ayres, Angela Gibson and Catherine Gosnell; sister, Linda Gentry; and seven grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Arlene Mays and Connie Diamond.

A small private service was held for her family. In May, there will be a celebration of life gathering for family and friends to attend at the farm.
