Danny Wayne Hancock

Danny Wayne Hancock, age 62, of Edgewood, MD, died on July 2, 2011 at his home. Born in Wyandotte, MI, he was the son of the late Thomas Everette and Pearl Ward Hancock. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during Vietnam. He was employed for 35 years at Edgewood Chemical Biological Center before retiring in 2005. An Edgewood resident for 42 years, he was a member of the American Legion Post 17, loved being with his grandchildren, enjoyed golfing, Rehoboth Beach and taking cruises.

Mr. Hancock is survived by his wife of 40 years, Karin A. Hancock of Edgewood, MD; daughter, Stacy Hancock Burkhardt and husband, Mark of Havre de Grace, MD; sister, Judy Mullins of Edmond, OK; and grandchildren, Ryan and Ashley Burkhardt.
