Daniel "Dan" T. Rother

Daniel "Dan" T. Rother, age 40, of Aberdeen, Maryland, passed away peacefully at his home on August 8, 2024. Born in Baltimore County, Maryland, Dan was the beloved son of Barbara Jane (Butler) House, John O. House, Jr., and Wayne Mark Rother.

Dan had a deep love for technology and was known for his expertise in computers. Whether it was fixing hardware, troubleshooting software, or helping others with their tech issues, Dan was always there with a solution and a smile. His passion for video games and anime brought him joy and a sense of community with fellow enthusiasts.

In his younger years, Dan was an active member of the drama club at school. He had a flair for the stage and loved to make others laugh with his performances. His quiet nature masked a big heart, and he was always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh with those around him. Dan also had a fascination with magic and card tricks, often delighting friends and family with his sleight of hand and playful spirit.

In addition to his loving parents, Dan is survived by his devoted brother, Wayne MJD Rother; his sister-in-law, Danielle M. Rother, uncle, Perry W. Butler; his aunt, Bonnie S. Masta; his cherished nephew and niece, Wayne MCB Rother and Gemma C. Rother; and his cousins, Heather M. Butler and Karen E. Butler.

Dan will be remembered for his kind heart, his passion for animals, his love of laughter, and his unwavering desire to help others. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
