Daniel Ray Sills Sr.

Daniel Ray Sills Sr., age 65, of Delta, PA passed away on October 5, 2012 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Asheville, NC, he was the son of the late Clyde Ray and Mittie Blown McCloud Sills. He was an Operating Engineer for Local 37 and was a past resident of Middle River for over 30 years. Family was very important to him and he was very involved in public school fundraisers, various political campaigns, voting registrations and donated to the Sierra Club National Association. He also enjoyed taking trips to his cabin in Pennsylvania.

Mr. Sills is survived by his wife, Maxine Tonie Esposito-Taubenfield Sills of Delta, PA; son, Daniel R. Sills Jr. of Baltimore, MD; daughter, Noel S. Dalton of Delta, PA; brother, Charles Michael Sills of Middle River, MD; sister, Brenda K. Ciecierski of Wilkes Barre, PA; and grandchildren, Jacqueline Lee Dalton of Delta, PA and Molly Adeline and Lillian Toni Sills of Dundalk, MD.
