DANIEL J. REARDON JR., of Bel Air, MD, age 71, died on February 20, 2008 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Richmond, VA, he was the son of the late Daniel Joseph Reardon Sr. and the late Marguerite Lynch White Reardon. He was a veteran and had served our country in the U.S. Air Force, where he served as a member of the Air Police at a SAC Base. He retired after 41 years of service with CSX Corporation where he was a supervisor. An avid golfer and bridge player, he enjoyed movies and coached Little League. Dan was a member of the Knights of Columbus Corpus Christ Council 6188, where he was a past Grand Knight and past District Deputy, plus served as a director for the Maryland State Council and was a past Faithful Navigator for the Archbishop Keough Assembly. He was past president of Edgewood Recreation Council and past lector of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. He enjoyed his grandchildren.
Mr. Reardon is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sandra Jameson Reardon of Bel Air, MD; a son, Daniel J. Reardon III and wife, Terri, of Bel Air, MD; a daughter, Michelle L. Merryman and husband, Richard, of Bel Air, MD; two sisters, Nancy R. Martin of Woodstock, GA and Suzanne W. Fulton of Charlottesville, VA; four grandchildren, Danielle N. Foust, Matthew A. Merryman, Kelly R. Foust, and Adam L. Merryman, all of Bel Air, MD; and one great grandson, Matthew T. Sharpe Jr., of Bel Air, MD.
