Daniel Delmar Kilby

Daniel Delmar Kilby passed away at the age of 84 on May 11, 2016 at Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Bel Air, MD, he is the son of the late Delmas J. and Selma C. (Edwards) Kilby and husband of 38 years to the late Janet Kilby. He was the owner of Jarrettsville Hardware, delivered part time for Petals and Posies Florist and always was willing to help people and was giving of his time. He was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school for many years. He also enjoyed gardening and doing crafts.

Mr. Kilby is survived by his wife of 23 years, Drema L. (Steele) Kilby; sons, Philip D. Kilby (Diane) of Abingdon and David M. Kilby (Karen) of Bel Air; step daughter, Nancy A. Pilkenton (Ken) of Monkton; brothers, Charles, Harold and Vonley Kilby; sisters, Barbara Anders, Jean Boylan and Kathleen Cox; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
