Daniel Christopher Johnson

1st Lt. Daniel Christopher Johnson, 35, of Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., passed away January 4, 2013, at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, Md. Born in Washington, D.C., he was the son of Charles and Joann Jackson Johnson. He was currently active in the U.S. Army where he served two deployments in Iraq and one in Kuwait. Johnson's overseas tours include Germany and South Korea. He was highly decorated and a recipient of the Bronze Star. 1st Lt. Johnson was a Chemical Soldier for the 22d Chemical Battalion (TE) whose last job was Executive Officer for 46th Chemical Company.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Carmelita D. Johnson; and sons, Christopher Dominic Johnson and Phillip Anthony Johnson both of APG.
