Daniel Francis Barczak, Jr., age 61, of White Hall, Maryland, passed away on January 6, 2025, at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Daniel Francis Barczak, Sr. and Marguerite Catherine (Thomas) Barczak.
Daniel was an avid sports fan, especially devoted to the Baltimore Ravens, Baltimore Orioles, and the Baltimore Blast teams. A long-time wrestling enthusiast, he also had a love for singing and was particularly proud of the day he performed the National Anthem on the field before a York Revolution baseball game.
Daniel often reminisced about his time working in the storeroom and delivering supplies at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, where his warm personality and dedication left a lasting impression, with colleagues still remembering him fondly by name years later.
He is survived by his sister, Theresa de Kozlowski and her husband Alan de Kozlowski, as well as his nephews, Colin de Kozlowski and Blake de Kozlowski.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Penn-Mar Human Services, 310 Old Freeland Road, Freeland, MD 21053.
