Dane B. Boggs

November 3, 1925 — February 11, 2006

DANE B. BOGGS, age 80, of Bel Air, died on February 11, 2006 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. Born in Forest Hill, MD, he was the son of the late Roy Jirdon and Ella Bertie Brown Boggs. He was a part owner of Miller Appliances on Main Street at Lee Street in Bel Air for many years. He retired from the Appliance Department at the old Montgomery Ward store in Bel Air. He was a lifetime member of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, a 32nd degree member of the Masonic Lodge in Bel Air, a member of the Boumi Temple, and a member for 45 years of Calvary Baptist Church.

He was a licensed pilot who learned to fly at Aldino Airport, and who flew to Florida and back many times on trips to visit his mother-in-law. He enjoyed golfing at the Maryland Golf and Country Club.

Mr. Boggs is survived by his wife, Mary A. Brewer Boggs of Bel Air, MD; one daughter, Betty Jean Coale, and her husband Edward A. Coale, of Bel Air, MD; and two grandchildren, Michael D. Coale and Timothy E. Coale, both of Bel Air, MD.
