DALLAS LEROY BENNETT, age 66, of Aberdeen, MD, died on October 16, 2007 at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born in Runville, PA, he was the son of the late Arthur and Hermene Burd Bennett. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served during the Vietnam. He worked for Central Atlantic Contractors, a division of Safety Grooving and Grinding, for 31 years. He enjoyed fishing, watching football and horse racing, and going to Delaware Park.
Mr. Bennett is survived by his wife, Ethel Ann Bennett of Aberdeen, MD; two daughters, Tammy Carr of Bel Air, MD and Diana Waden of Elgin, IL; stepdaughter; Ronnda Cadle of Decauter, GA; one brother, John Bennett of Blaine, MN; one sister, Evelyn Pierce of Monkton, MD; and one granddaughter, Brittani Creamer of Westminster, MD. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Clark Creamer; a brother, Doyle “Jack” Bennett; and three sisters, Jane Jerzykowski, Hilda Casper, and Shirley Weeks.
