CURTIS LEROY TEAGUE, age 71, of Bel Air, MD, died on July 18, 2008 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Forest Hill, MD, he was the son of the late Grant and Martha Elizabeth Doyle Teague and the husband of the late Elsie Marie Thompson Teague. A 1955 graduate of North Harford High School, he worked for Petti Frocks Sewing Factory in Whiteford, MD. He was employed by Robert Livezey driving a school bus for Harford County Public Schools for 30 years while working as a custodian at the John Archer School in Churchville, MD. He also worked at the McDonald=s in Churchville. A member of Emory United Methodist Church in Street, MD, he enjoyed people, his family, and going to The Buck for tractor pulls. His other hobbies included collecting Match Box cars, with his favorites being Ironside Van, The Mongoose, and The Snake, and setting up model trains. He enjoyed all the children at John Archer School, taking in train sets and setting them up so the children could enjoy them. He also gave the children trucks and cars as little gifts.
Mr. Teague is survived by a daughter, Kathy Ann Richardson and her husband, Cecil, of Abingdon, MD; three sons, Timothy Teague and his wife, Peggy, of Forest Hill, MD, Scott Teague of Bel Air, MD and Curtis Boyle of Whiteford, MD; a stepson, Tommy Thompson Jr. and his wife, Maria, of Rising Sun, MD; three sisters, Nancy Dunaway and her husband, Mike, of Street, MD, Mary Clark and her husband, Herb, of Rock Hall, MD, and Shirley Streett and her husband, Bob, of Street, MD; seven brothers, Charles Teague of Bovina, TX, James Teague of Street, MD, Allen Teague and his wife, Martie, of Titusville, Fl, Paul Teague and his wife, Cathy of Glen Rock, PA, Grant Teague Jr. and his wife, Nancy, of Darlington, MD, Samuel Teague and his wife, Pat, of Edgewood, MD, and Roger Teague and his wife, Bessie, of Whiteford, MD; five grandchildren, Nicole Lynne Sanchez of Fairfax, WV, Christopher Michael Green of Conowingo, MD, Justin Grant and Kayla Rebecca Teague, both of Forest Hill, MD and Alexa Madison Thompson of Rising Sun, MD; five great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers were Mike Dunaway, James Teague, Roger Teague, Scott Teague, Thomas Thompson, Timothy Teague, and Samuel Teague.
