Craig Alan Axelson

Craig Alan Axelson, age 57, of Delta, PA, passed away on February 22, 2014 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in New Rochelle, NY, he is the son of Jeanne Ruth Anderson Axelson of York, PA and the late Kenneth John Axelson. A 1975 graduate of Bel Air High School, he had lived around the Upper Cross Roads and Rocks State Park area before moving to Delta. He enjoyed his carpentry work and helping others in many ways. He enjoyed the peaceful tranquility of his home with his wife and dogs, Xaver and Zenzi.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 36 years, Gloria Hodges Axelson; brothers, Kenneth W. Axelson and wife, Lisa, of York, PA, Dale E. Axelson and wife, Cheryl, of Delta, PA, Paul C. Axelson and wife, Bonnie, of Cincinnati, OH; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he is predeceased by his brother, John M. Axelson.
