Cora Elizabeth Antal

CORA ELIZABETH ANTAL, age 79, of Bel Air, MD, died at her home on October 24, 2004. Born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Mark William and Mildred Grove Rich, and the wife of the late Daniel Antal. She had retired in 1986 from the Pennsylvania Manufacturing Association where she worked as a compensation clerk. She was a member of the Gideon Society for about 40 years and a member of Christ Our King Presbyterian Church in Bel Air, MD for about 20 years. She was very proud of her family. She was a faithful Christian, wife and mother, devoted to her family, community and country. She took great joy in working with children, having been a girl and cub scout leader, when her children were young, and a Sunday School teacher for over 35 years. She felt that one of her greatest gifts to the community was giving blood on a regular basis and was saddened when illness no longer allowed her to do this. She treasured the opportunities we have in this country and in addition to regularly voting, she assisted in the election process by volunteering to work at the polling booths when she lived in Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Antal is survived by two sons, Robert James Antal of San Diego, California; Daniel Mark Antal of Park River, North Dakota; one daughter, Daneene A. Lucas of Bel Air, Maryland; one brother, James Rich of Cleveland, Ohio; two sisters, Audrey Vargo of Cleveland, Ohio; Charlyn Rich of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; 10 grandchildren; and a step-mother, Dorothy Malicki of Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
