Connie Marie Workinger

CONNIE MARIE WORKINGER, age 53, of Havre de Grace, MD, died on July 31, 2008 at her home. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Roy Lee Turner and Nancy Irene Worrell Turner. A loving Christian wife and mother, she was a devoted aunt to her many nieces and nephews which she had a hand in raising over the years. An avid reader, she enjoyed books and loved flowers, especially daisies. She had a love of music and enjoyed singing karaoke with her niece.

Mrs. Workinger is survived by her husband, Paul M. Workinger Jr. of Havre de Grace, MD; four brothers, Bill Turner and his wife, Mary, of Myrtle Beach, SC, Ken Turner and his wife, Julie, of Aberdeen, MD, Phil Turner and his wife, Tina, of Rising Sun, MD, and Ron Turner and his wife, Debbie, of Havre de Grace, MD; three sisters, Susie Woods and her husband, Bob, Nancy Testerman and her husband, Gary, and Wanda Albers and her husband, Charles, all of Havre de Grace, MD; five sister-in-laws, Carolyn Colburn and her husband, Ned, of Havre de Grace, MD, Joan Harris and her husband, Gary, of Edgewood, MD, Ann Phillips and her husband, Donald Phillips Jr., of Edgewood, MD, Angela Workinger and her partner, David Phillips, of Abingdon, MD, and Diana Caudill of Havre de Grace, MD; mother-in-law, Hilda Workinger of Edgewood, MD; and 11 nieces, six nephews, six great nieces, and eight great nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Charles Michael Turner Workinger.

Pallbearers were Andy Woods, Gary Testerman Jr., Chris Turner, Jennifer Bennett, Rachel Lewis, Patti Dugger, Shannon Turner, and Kara Barlow. Honorary pallbearers were Tammy Rapposelli, Heather Lindsey, Danny Turner, Bethany Turner, Tessa Turner, Cliff Harris, Bryan Harris, Kristen Farmer, and Morgan Phillips.
