Command Sergeant Major Roy Edward Founds Us Army, Ret.

Command Sergeant Major Roy Edward Founds, US Army, Ret., age 91, of Joppa, MD, passed away on October 6, 2017 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Roy and Myrtle (Brown) Founds and husband of the late Berdell Mae (Wood) Founds. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during WWII and was co-owner of SH Anderson store for many years after retiring from the Army.

Mr. Founds is survived by his daughter, Kathryn R. Meadows (Michael) of Havre de Grace; three sons, Thomas Edward Founds of Joppa, Robert Scott (Theresa) Founds of Pylesville and Steven Dale (Shelly) Founds of Shrewsbury, PA; seven grandchildren, Rachel Zimmerman, Lauren Diehl of Ocean Pines, Tyler Founds of Pylesville, Owen Founds, K. Elizabeth Meadows of Federal Hill, Kierstin Meadows of Havre de Grace, and Jacob Meadows of Havre de Grace; and several great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Stella Knicely.
