CLINTON JOHN SCHULZ, SR., age 78, of Havre de Grace, Maryland, passed away at Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace, Maryland, on March 27, 2006. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Edward August and Freda Geraldine Horst Schulz and the husband of the late Virginia Yeagy and the late Reva Mae Lowe Schulz. He worked in a garage at the age of 13 which developed into a life long love of cars. In 1951, he bought his first truck, a 1931 Model A pick up. His last car was a 2004 Ford Mustang. He was a Ford man to the end. He entered the US Army in 1945 and later received an honorable discharge. He spent nine years in the Maryland Air National Guard. He worked for Bethlehem Steel as a long haul truck driver and operated the Edgewood Diner from 1960 to 1972.
Mr. Schulz is survived by four children, Sandra Chapel of Washington, DC, Christine Hazelton of Valley Center, CA, Clinton John Schulz, Jr. of Havre de Grace, MD, and Michael Edward Schulz of Descanso, CA; three brothers, Edward Schulz of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Frank Schulz of Baltimore, MD and Frederick Schulz of Bel Air, MD; five grandchildren, Stephanie Schulz of Joppatowne, MD, Danielle Jackson of Washington, DC, Rachel Moore of Valley Center, CA, and Keylee and Kyle Schulz of Descanso, CA; and a great granddaughter, Amina Jackson of Washington, DC.
In addition to his parents and wives, he is predeceased by two sisters, June Paradise and Ann Schulz.
