Clinton C. Waddell

December 16, 1937 — November 13, 2014

Clinton C. Waddell, age 76, of Edgewood, MD passed away on November 13, 2014 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. Born in Dublin, MD, he is the son of the late Click Ambrose and Myrtle Blevins Waddell. A lifelong Harford County resident, he was one of nine children and worked at Bata Shoe Company in the milling room for 50 years. He was very connected to his family and everything they did, and liked old cars.

Mr. Waddell is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shirley E. Waddell; son, Clinton C. Waddell Jr. of Edgewood; daughter, Rhonda J. Lipscomb and husband, Francis, of Abingdon; brothers, James Crabb of North Wilkesboro, NC and Keith Waddell of Elkin, NC; sister, Marie Wilburn of Greensboro, NC; grandchildren, Tiffany Roe and husband, John, of Joppatowne and Francis Lipscomb Jr. of Abingdon; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Quillard Waddell, Virginia Brooks, Dee "Penny" Bebber and Louise Moody.
