Clifton C. Caudill, Sr.

CLIFTON C. CAUDILL, age 83, of Bel Air, died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on August 29, 2004.. Born in Bel Air, he was the son of the late Reid Nelson and Lillie Mae Anderson Caudill. He was a 1938 graduate of Jarrettsville High School and numerous electronics schools. He retired from Martin Marietta after 20 years of service. He was a WW II veteran having served in the Air Force and a past commander of the American Legion Post 39 in Bel Air.

Mr. Caudill is survived by his wife, Ruth C. Caudill; two sons, Peter R. Caudill and his wife, Christina of Darlington; Clifton C. Caudill and his wife, Rader of Dubuque, Iowa; one sister, Margaret L. Grady of Bel Air; three grandchildren, Mary Caudill Dietz and her husband, John of Edgewood; Patrick Caudill and his wife, Melinda of Dubuque, Iowa; Christopher Caudill and his wife, Heather of Jarrettsville; six great-grandchildren, Matthew, Zachary and Jennifer Dietz, all of Edgewood;Logan and CAssie Marie Caudill of Dubuque, Iowa; Christopher Caudill, Jr. of Jarrettsville; and numerous step-children and step-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Pawnee Caudill and two sisters, Barbara Caudill Minnick and Christine Caudill.
