CLEO H. BURGIN, age 75, of Bel Air, died in Mariner Health of Bel Air on December 10, 2003. Born in Old Fort, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Rommey R. and Nettie Pritchard Burgin. He had retired from Aberdeen Proving Ground where he had been a mechanical instructor for 11 years. He had also retired from Child’s Chevrolet after 21 years of service. He had been a self employed painter for 22 years. He was a member of Church of God of Rising Sun where he enjoyed the fellowship with the men at his church. He also enjoyed traveling in his recreational vehicle, fishing, bowling, and doing home repairs. He had served his country in the U.S. Air Force during WW II.
Mr. Burgin is survived by his wife of 30 years, Ruby P. Coldiron Burgin; one son, Kenneth D. Hensley of Tazewell, Tennessee; two daughters, Norma J. Crouse of Bel Air; Brenda P. Doss and her husband, Robert Doss of Bel Air; two brothers, Weight Burgin of Shallet, North Carolina; Bulo Burgin of Morgantown, North Carolina; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Virgil Burgin and Ted Burgin.
