Clarence O. Harris, 87, of Edgewood, MD passed away on November 3, 2015 at Charlotte Hall VA Home in Charlotte Hall, MD. Born in Dickerson, VA, he was the son of the late Hayes Harris and Nora (McFadden) Harris and husband of the late Josephine Mary Harris. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and had retired in 1984, after 41 years of service, from Edgewood Arsenal. He loved attending church at Grandview Christian where he served as a deacon. He was a fan of the Orioles, Ravens and NASCAR and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Harris is survived by his sons, Stephen C. Harris of Edgewood, Donald E. Harris of Aberdeen and Dennis D. Harris of Joppatowne; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his siblings, Earl C. Harris, Hayes Harris Jr., Maggie May Harris, Emma Fay Harris, Millie Gay Harris, Helen Booth and Trula Harris; and his half-siblings, Emmerson Tiller, Luther Harris, Curtis Harris, Virginia Harris, Vonnie Meadows and Nancy Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Harford County Humane Society, 2208 Connolly Road, Fallston, MD 21047.
