Clarence Edward Baseman

November 13, 1922 — November 19, 2005

CLARENCE EDWARD BASEMAN, age 83, of Parkville, formerly of Forest Hill, died on November 19, 2005 at The Care Center at Oak Crest Village. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late George Bedford Baseman and Ruby Anne Merryman Baseman. He served in the Army Air Corps, and was an educator who retired in 1984 after 30 years with the Board of Education. He had been a member of Fallston United Methodist Church since 1971 and was active with Meals on Wheels.

Mr. Baseman is survived by his wife, C. Marjorie Hegstrum Baseman of Parkville, and three sisters, Charlotte M. Foster of Timonium, Florence M. Trimble of Jarrettsville, and Marlene J. Letsch of Westminster. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Baseman was predeceased by three brothers, Marvin B. Baseman, Norman C. Baseman, and G. Vernon Baseman.
