Clarence Allen Butash, 75, of Edgewood, MD passed away on October 30, 2015 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Born in Barberton, OH, he was the son of the late Mike and Elizabeth Butash and husband, for 42 years, of the late Betty Lynn (Moore) Butash. He served in the United States Air Force from 1957 – 1961, United States Army from 1962-1980 and retired from Civilian Security Guard Division/Directorate of Emergency Services at Aberdeen Proving Ground in 2010. During his time in the military, he traveled all over Europe. He was a gun collector and enjoyed camping, woodworking and model trains.
Mr. Butash is survived by his son, Roger Butash; daughter in-law, Dorine Butash; grandchildren, Kara and Courtney Butash; great-grandson, Isaac McDonald, all from Joppa Md. Brother Paul Butash of Covington, OH; special nieces, Leanna Harrison and Joanne Spade; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his brother, William Butash of Arizona; and sisters, Lillian Cibulka and Kathryn Cox of Ohio.
