CLARA E. COSNER, 81, of Edgewood, died at Franklin Square Hospital on October 6, 2003. Born in Aberdeen, she was the daughter of the late James Thomas and Carrie Elizabeth Morris Griffith and the wife of the late Alvin L. Cosner. She had worked at Bata Shoe Company in Belcamp, Hickory Canning Factory in Hickory, and Town and Country Apartments. She enjoyed playing the mouth harp, camping, going to Atlantic City and fishing. She made most of her children’s clothing while they were growing up.
Mrs. Cosner is survived by a son, Robert R. Cosner, Sr. of Forest Hill; seven daughters, Verna M. Wilson of Dundalk, Mary E. Parks of Darlington, Nancy L. Benham of Edgewood, Genevieve Ajello of Edgewood, Savilla I. Vaught of Havre de Grace, Ruth E. Stichel of Edgemere, and Pauline A. Al-Sabban of Edgewood; two sisters, Katherine Cullum of Aberdeen and Thelma Griffith of Baltimore; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Christopher Timmons, Robert Cosner, Jr., Richard Stichel, Jr., Christopher Wilson, Gregory Stichel, Ronnie Whippo and Brian Baldwin.
