Claire J. Pritcher

Claire J. Pritcher, of Bel Air, formerly of Sinking Spring, Pa., died September 25, 2010 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. She was 94. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Marianne Grenda Apanewicz and wife of 66 years to the late Marvin H. Pritcher.

Mrs. Pritcher lived for 25 years in Sinking Spring and worked in the Reading School District as an Administrative Assistant. Since 1986 she was a resident of Bel Air.

Mrs. Pritcher is survived by her son, Craig Pritcher of Arlington, VA; daughters, Susan H. Waldhauser and her husband, George, of Fallston, MD and Linda L. Hoover and her husband, Paul, of Providence, RI; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Barbara J. Kelly, brothers Alex and Jules Allen and her sister Joan Allen.

Pallbearers will be Craig Pritcher, George Waldhauser, Paul Hoover, Steven Potter, Steve Wiedemann, and Cory McEntee.
