Christopher R. Russo

Chris Russo, age 82, of Joppa, Maryland passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 14, 2023.  Born in East Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Joseph Russo and Virginia (Miller) Russo.  He graduated from Patterson High School in 1958. He served in the Army National Guard, then enjoyed a successful career as a welder and later in life a Tractor Trailer Driver.

Chris was often complimented for his kind, gentle personality.  He enjoyed laughter, dancing to oldies music with his wife and a great meal with family and friends.  He was passionate about fishing in the Chesapeake Bay, spending time boating or near the water, classic cars and hot rods, competitive pool and poker games and spending time with his grandchildren.

Chris is survived by his wife Cecilia Russo; daughters Suzanne Fischer-Huettner and Virginia (Russo) Conner; Son-in-laws Steven Huettner and Robert Conner and grandchildren Isabella Huettner, Timothy Conner, Vincent Conner; brother Joseph Russo, sister-in-law Linda Russo (Cain) and niece Lisa (Russo) Breeden and nephew Rick Russo.
