Christina ''Chricket'' M. Smith

Christina "Chricket" M. Smith, age 27, of Port Deposit, MD, died on January 24, 2009 at Union Hospital in Elkton, MD. Born in Gettysburg, PA, she was the daughter of Ronald William Smith Sr. and Kim Michelle Rawlings Smith of Port Deposit, MD. As a baby, her Poppy nicknamed her "Chricket" and was forever known as "Chricket" by all family and friends. A 2000 graduate of Perryville High School, she met her fiancé David of 10 years while working security at SGI, she most currently worked at the North East Wal-mart. She loved to camp, watch movies, the outdoors, bonfires in the yard, and being with her family. She also enjoyed long walks on the boardwalk at Tydings Park with David. She dearly loved her cat "Mischief" who died last year.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her fiancé, David Shawn Weisman of Belcamp, MD; brothers, Ronald William Smith Jr. and wife, Jenna, of Rising Sun, MD and Michael Alan Smith of Port Deposit, MD; sister, Hope Lynn Smith Lucas and husband, Ken, of Rising Sun, MD; nephew, Ronald William Smith III of Rising Sun, MD; grandmother, Linda Jean Rawlings of North East, MD; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
