Cheryl "Sue" McCartin

Cheryl “Sue” McCartin, 70, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2024.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Sue was the daughter of Charles and Geneva (Meehling) Gordon and the devoted wife of the late Wade McCartin Sr. She cherished family time above all, whether on the phone or in person. Sue’s kindness and generosity knew no bounds—she was always there for anyone in need.

 Sue found joy in Christmas traditions, motorcycle rides with her husband, casino trips, and most of all, her children and grandchildren. Grateful for all she had, Sue gave thanks to God daily.

 She is survived by her sons, Wade McCartin Jr. and Chad McCartin Sr.; grandchildren, Chelsea McCartin, Chad McCartin Jr., Wade McCartin III, and Brayden McCartin; great-granddaughter, Logan Johnson; sister, Debbie Hunt; and brother, Richard Gordon.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Clinton “Junie” Trout, and sisters Mary “Pat” Thomas, Sharon Menikheim, and Charlotte Hardiman.
