Cheryl A. Gaultney
March 14, 1951 — June 26, 2022
Cheryl A. Gaultney, age 71, of Churchville, Maryland passed away on June 26, 2022, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Ronald Mergenthaler and Veronica (Woppman) Strickland and the loving wife of Basil Gaultney for 48 years. She was a member of Maryland Turf Council, and St. Matthews for 40 years, where she was also a greeter. She also worked for Brad's Farm Market. Cheryl will be remembed as a loving spouse, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her husband, Cheryl is survived by her stepfather, John Strickland; daughter, Kellye Gaultney; grandchildren, Kenzie McCord, Trystan McCord, Dalton McCord; brothers, Scott (Patti) Mergenthaler & Gregory Mergenthaler; stepbrother, Mike Strickland; stepsister, Katherine Dere.
