Charlotte Cundiff Jones

Charlotte Cundiff Jones, age 91, of Baltimore, MD, died on February 10, 2009 at Oak Crest Retirement Village in Baltimore, MD. Born in Roanoke, VA, she was the daughter of the late John Robert and Charlotte Annie Nugent Sheen Cundiff. She had worked at Harford Mutual Insurance Company in Bel Air, where she was an underwriter, and also at Loyola Federal Savings and Loan, where she achieved the positions of assistant secretary of the company and later branch manager in Bel Air. A founding member and president of the Bel Air Acres Homemakers, she was also a den mother for the Cub Scouts, which she dearly loved and enjoyed. She and her husband had been active members of Bel Air United Methodist Church since 1953. She had been a resident at Oak Crest Village for 12 years and was the founder of a Harford County group there.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Clarence Clark Jones of Baltimore, MD; sons, John Clark Jones and wife, Patricia, of Bel Air, MD and William Thomas Jones and wife, Faye, of Greenbackville, VA; five grandchildren, Michael Jones and wife, Lisa, Keith Jones and wife, Debbie, Amy Childs and husband, Christian, Jessa Burdett and husband, Jeff, and Kassie Blakelock and husband, Matthew; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, John R. Cundiff Jr. and William L. Cundiff; sister, Marjorie Bowman Cundiff; and daughter-in-law, Kathleen Jones.
