Charlotte Ann Contreras

Charlotte Ann Contreras, age 46, of Essex, Maryland, departed this life on June 17, 2024, at Accent Care at Franklin Square in Rosedale, Maryland surrounded by her family and friends. She valiantly fought a long battle with stomach cancer. Even through her hardest treatments, she was determined to stay positive and create memories with her children and newborn granddaughter.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the adopted daughter of the late Hayward (Michael) and Sharon (Osborne) Pigott. Her family loving served God at Towne Baptist Church. While Pastor Mike spoke from the pulpit; her mother led them all in song. Charlotte loved to work in the nursery, Mission Friends, and Vacation Bible School. She was diligent in achieving her Acteens mission discipleship group levels while serving her community.

After graduating from Baltimore School of Massage, Charlotte was blessed to become a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Her family was her everything, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Charlotte was often found walking and enjoying the sunshine and simple joys of life. Her children hold dear to these walks and the lessons she taught them along the way. Charlotte also had a passion for true crime, spending her free time watching crime shows and documentaries.

Charlotte and her former husband, Wilson Contreras had three children, Michael Luis Contreras, Adam Emilio Contreras and Olivia Ann Contreras, and one beloved granddaughter, Aaliyah Marie Contreras. Although their marriage was not permanent, they continued to stay close loving friends and parents.

Charlotte is also survived by her brother, Cameron Michael Pigott; and her nephew, Tristian Cole Pigott.

In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her grandchild, Sofia Isabella Contreras.

Charlotte will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her loving spirit and dedication to her family will be remembered and cherished forever.
