Charlie Eagle, age 81, of Delta, Pennsylvania passed away on July 1, 2022 at Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Born in White Hall, Maryland, he was the son of the late Ira Eagle and Lorrena (Rudd) Miller and husband of Freeda (Jarvis) Eagle.
He was married for 63 years. He retired in 2007 from Plaza Ford after 50 years of service as the Mechanic Shop Foreman. He enjoyed driving in antique tractor pulls, playing horseshoes, bowling at Forest Hill Lanes and Bel Air Bowl, spending time in his garage which was also known as his "happy place", his cats, tinkering around the house and in his younger days he spent time on his motorcycle.
In addition to his wife, Charlie is survived by two sons, Chris (Anna) Eagle, Nathan (Polly Roupe) Eagle; two daughters, Janelle (Greg Wilson) Vane, Andrea (Richard) Kestner; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Shirley (Odell) Jarvis.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanette Dimattei; grandson, Nathan Eagle, Jr. and a brother, Frank Eagle.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to a local animal rescue of your choice.
