CHARLES WILLIAM LOWERY, age 84, of Bel Air, MD, died on August 27, 2007 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. Born in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Burton and Hazel Fier Lowery. A WWII Army veteran, he worked as a machinist at Aberdeen Proving Ground. A self-made carpenter, he was a member of The Woodmen of the World out of Cumberland, MD. He loved to travel, especially to Las Vegas and Atlantic City, and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Mr. Lowery is survived by his wife, Mary Regina Nehring Lowery of Bel Air, MD; a daughter, Donna Lowery Albrecht and her husband, John, of Bel Air, MD; a brother, James Edward Lowery Sr. and his wife, Doris Byrd, of Westminster, MD; four grandchildren, Kimberly Jean Sears Thomas and her husband, Gary L. Thomas, of Baltimore, MD, Patrick Lowery Sears and his wife, Jamie Porcella Sears, of Bel Air, MD, Michael John Albrecht and his wife, Kathryn Gitschier Albrecht, of Goldsboro, NC, and Jeffrey William Albrecht of Parkville, MD; and one great-granddaughter, Kassandra Yvette Shaw of Baltimore, MD. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by seven brothers and sisters.
