Charles Wesley ''Wes'' Houff Jr.

Charles Wesley "Wes" Houff Jr., age 64, of Forest Hill, MD, died on June 19, 2010 at the Maryland VA Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born in Charlottesville, VA, he was the son of Mary Anna Vandevender Houff of Forest Hill, MD and the late Charles Wesley Houff Sr. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he served as a White House Communications Specialist. He worked in the automotive industry and was a champion trap shooter.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Houff is survived by his sons, Matt W. Houff and Jason W. Houff, both of Forest Hill, MD; and sister, Mary Scheeler of Cecilton, MD. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his nephew, Michael P. Scheeler.

Private services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Amateur Trap Shooting Association Youth Fund, 601 West National Road, Vandalia, OH 45377, and note on the check "In memory of Charles "Wes" Houff".
