Charles W. Ward

CHARLES W. WARD, age 60, of Forest Hill, died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on September 11, 2004. Born in Forest Hill, he was the son of Ella Louise Page Ward of Abingdon and the late Albert Leo Ward. He had retired after 23 years as owner and operator of the Perryville Yacht Club. He had also owned and operated the Ward Contracting in Forest Hill for many years. He was an avid boater, fisherman, motorcyclist, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a charter member of the Marble Club at the Perryville Yacht Club. He enjoyed traveling

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 16 years, Donna May Wickesser Ward; two sons, Donty A. Ward of Frankfort, Indiana; Brian J. Flynn of North East; one daughter, Shelly May Flynn of Joppa; three brothers, James A. Ward of Port Deposit; Page F. Ward of Alexandria, Egypt; Gary R. Ward of Jarrettsville; two sisters, Gail E. Lowman of Whiteford; Janet M. Ward of Edgewood; four grandchildren, Zachary A. Flynn ; Brendon J. Flynn, both of North East; Kyle Smith; and Mitchell Ward, both of Frankfort, Indiana
