Charles Aloysius Viol, III

Charles Aloysius Viol III, age 72, of Edgewood, Maryland, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023, while in hospice care. Born April 6, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, his family moved to Virginia, then to Ohio and then onto Joppatowne, Maryland in 1967. He was a 1969 graduate of Edgewood Senior High School. He was employed as a United States Postal Worker in Joppatowne from 1970 until his retirement in 2006. 

He was predeceased by both of his parents. He is survived by three sisters: Charlotte M. Cumbie of Liberty, North Carolina, Janet A. Viol-Thomas of Abingdon, Maryland, and Ann M. Viol of Abingdon, Maryland. He is also survived by five nephews and nieces. 

Burial is private.
