Charles R. "Dick" Vaughn

On July 1, 2014 Dick Vaughn passed away. Dick is survived by his wife of almost 52 years, Joan Vaughn (Patterson), his daughters Dianne L. Dill (Thomas) and Christina L. Vaughn. His brother, James E. Vaughn (Deborah) of Bel Air and sister Carol Gable (John) of Florence, SC. He is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and many family members. He was predeceased by his mother, G. Evelyn Vaughn.

Dick grew up in Forest Hill and never left his roots. He worked for the Klein's Store for 55 years as a Truck Driver. Dick served the community for 30 years as a lifetime member of the (#3) Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company/Forest Hill Station. He was a 2nd Asst. Chief. He was well respected and appreciated by his community for his dedication and longevity. Dick will be missed.
