Charles William Ottewell

Charles William Ottewell, age 48, of Rising Sun Maryland passed away on February 19, 2023.  Charlie was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on November 20, 1974 to William and Cynthia Ottewell.  The family moved to Bel Air, Maryland in 1985 as the family enjoyed the historical nature of the eastern United States.  He was a graduate of Bel Air High School in 1992 and attended the University of Maryland and Towson University.

Charlie was employed by Frito Lay for over 16 years developing many friendships.  He enjoyed many outdoor activities including white water rafting, volleyball, and long walks.  He was devoted to his parents sharing many celebrations and visits to family in Michigan.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his uncles John (Fran) Ottewell, Clifford Mayers, Colin (Sharen) Mayers, and several cousins.  He is preceeded in death by his aunt Sylvia Dahl.
