Charles L. Nagle, Jr., age 89, of Edgewood, Maryland, passed away on November 3, 2024, at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Charles and Geneva (Smith) Nagle and the beloved husband of the late Ileen Boyd-Nagle.
A dedicated member of North Harford Baptist Church, Charles enjoyed a fulfilling career in commercial construction, retiring in the 1990s. In his free time, he found joy in fishing, listening to country music, and attending music events in Cecil County with his parents. He cherished outings for shopping and dining and shared many memorable moments attending wrestling events with his wife.
Charles had a special fondness for long-stem red roses, which symbolized his appreciation for beauty and love. He will be remembered for his warm spirit and the love he shared with family and friends.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Bonny Bowles; son, Daryl Little; stepsons, Jarrett Van Klei, Ken Van Klei, Mark Van Klei, and Greg Van Klei; stepdaughter, Vivian Woods; grandchildren, Justin R. Blevins, Matthew Little and Jason Little; sisters, Elizabeth Ann Vaughan, Lu Ann Ellis and Kathy Eberhardt; brother, Louie Nagle; nephews, William Shackelford, Richard Ellis, Derrick Rhode; and niece, Vickie.
In addition to his wife and parents, Charles was preceded in death by, stepson, Chris Van Klei; grandson, Travis A. Anderson; sisters, Mary Catherine, Sara Jane, and Terry Lynn; nephew, Ricky Horton; and niece, Connie Habera.
