Charles Louis Wrencher Jr., age 66, of Joppa, Maryland passed away on December 19, 2021 at his home. Born in Southern Pines, North Carolina, he was the son of Charles Wrencher Sr. and Gerushia (Thomas) Wrencher. He went to Union Pines High School in Moore County, North Carolina where he was quarterback of the football team and played basketball. His favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys. He worked as a car salesman at Jones Junction and retired in 2020 after 42 years of service. He liked buying cars, working on them, detailing them and reselling them. He loved being outdoors, working on his lawn and watching westerns on TV, especially Gunsmoke. He was the "block captain" of the neighborhood.
Charles is survived by his father, Charles Wrencher Sr.; his wife of over 31 years, Mary Wrencher; sons, Timothy Alston and Michael (Kiafa) Quick; step-son, Travis Johnson; step-daughter, Talisha Johnson; grandchildren, Tiana Furtado, Darius Alston, Emoy'e White and Trinity & Timiah Alston, Tiffany (Jason) Smith, Toddrika Sealy and Myles Arrington; great grandchildren, Kamiyah, Kaydance, Kalaya & Kaylasia Furtado; great great grandchild, Landon Smith; brothers, John Wrencher, Conrad (Kyndell) Wrencher, Clifton (Cynthia) Wrencher, Jackie Brown, Ken (Barbara) Wrencher; and sisters, Barbara (Ben) Harris, Denise Kyle and Teresa Ross.
In addition to his mother Gerushia, Charles was preceded in death by his daughter, Sheretha Termaine White, brother, James Thomas and sisters, Geneva Brower, Marie Brooks and Monica Boston.
