Charles K. Wilson, Sr

CHARLES K. WILSON, SR., age 73, of Bel Air, MD died at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD on August 13, 2007. Born in Bel Air, MD, he was the son of the late James Smithson and Dasey Marie Smithson Wilson. He was retired from Yeager Construction where he was a carpenter. He was a member of Bel Air Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing the guitar and was an avid reader. He raised all kinds of foul (pheasants, peacocks, quail, geese, and chickens) and horses.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife of 40 years, Shirley D. Hammond Wilson of Bel Air, MD; a son, Charles K. Wilson, Jr. of Goddard, KS; a daughter, Laura D. Hoover of Bel Air, MD; six sisters, Hannah Cochran of Bel Air, MD, Lucille Gott of Baltimore, MD, Marie Martin of Bel Air, MD; Ginny Foor of Bel Air, MD, Betty Miller of Bel Air, MD, and Peggy Hollar of Bel Air, MD; and three grandchildren, Jardan Lynn Deel of Elkton, MD, Charles K. Wilson, III of Wichita, KS, and Deven R. Hoover of Bel Air, MD. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, George Griest and a sister, Doris Miller.

Pallbearers were: Randall Deel, Jerry Green, Lester Lepley, Bobby MaHann, Rose Hammond, Jordan Deel, and Deven Hoover.
