Charles Joseph Shunk

CHARLES JOSEPH SHUNK, age 50, of Fallston, died at his residence on August 15, 2003. Born in Havre de Grace, he was the son the late Carl Harry and Marcella Elizabeth Pearce Shunk. He served his country in the Army and had retired from the U.S. Coast Guard after 20 years of service. He loved hunting and fishing.

Mr. Shunk is survived by one son, Joseph Hunter Shunk of Joppa; one adopted daughter, Shannon Shunk of Baltimore; five brothers, Richard Lee Shunk of Joppa; James Frank Shunk of Aberdeen; William Roger Shunk of Edgewood; Carl Harry Shunk, Jr. of Edgewood; John Donald Shunk of Joppa; one sister, Lois Hawks of Bel Air; and a grandson, Derrick Randall of Baltimore. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Arthur Amoss Pearce and Robert Eugene Shunk.
